African Startups and Innovators can apply for NESTLÉ Hatcher Project Uno
NESTLÉ is a market leader in coffee is looking to further engage its youth market by providing digitally-driven solutions that provide customer experiences beyond the product. The company has put up a challenge to identify startups or innovators that can create digital solutions to help the company become better under the following categories:
Loyalty/ Rewards Program: Creating a subscription service offering that enables special offers to retailers as a form reward program.
Emerging Technologies: Offer a different in-store and out-of-store experience by engaging users using various emerging technologies; AI, VR, AR, IoT, and/or 3D print with the objective of educating them or improving their customer experience.
Improve Accessibility: Developing entrepreneurs to bring the NESCAFÉ coffee experience even closer to the customer at Universities, Colleges, Office Parks, small town, and townships
Beyond Product Digital Solutions: In case we missed an opportunity to better our customer experience, school us! Let us know if you have any digital solutions you think may add value to our customers.
Contestants will be chosen based on innovations with a higher likelihood of successful integration, are feasible, and have an accretive business model. Among others, the solution should position NESCAFÉ as a leader in the category.
The challenge was launched in March and will until 21st April 2021, interested startups and innovators can apply here. The finalist will be selected on 22nd April 2021 and the winner will be announced on 19th May 2021. Successful startups will receive the necessary funds and opportunities to carry out their solution.
