African Startups can apply for Startup Cafe Africa accelerator programme
The Ghana-based Startup Cafe Africa has announced the launch of its accelerator program to help African startups disrupt their markets.
Startup Cafe Africa is supported by iSpace (a firm that supports global sustainable development); HatuaTech (a well-established Microsoft Certified (managed) partner, specializing in providing business management solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics ERP (NAV/AX) /CRM and numerous Microsoft Products); Tribe Capital (a venture capital firm focused on using product and data science to engineer companies and investments). Other partners include GhLondoners network, InvestPro, and HatuaOnPoint.
The main focus of Startup Cafe Africa is to equip successful applicants with the skills, resources, and support needed to scale these companies and accelerate their growth process in emerging African markets.
The program is not centered on a particular tech sector and aims to connect early-stage founders with mentors from diverse backgrounds and resources tailored for the African market. In addition to a structured curriculum, cohort participants would be required to participate in the hands-on application of concepts and practices learned throughout the program.
Startup Café Africa will conclude with a demo day where startups will present their ideas to a carefully selected group of investors and media, while Startup Cafe Africa will continue to support and engage with the companies on an ongoing basis post-program.
Application for the program is open until May 30, 2021; interested startups can click here to apply.
