African Startups can benefit from the BudStart 2021 Accelerator Program

AB InBev company has launched BudStart Global Accelerator Program 2021 to identify disruptive startup solutions among African startups.

AB InBev is a global beer company established by Carlos Brito. The company has since been committed to improving lives in the communities where we operate. In 2017, it announced a commitment to secure 100% of the purchased electricity used in our brewing and vertical operations from renewable sources by 2025. The company started one of its four global innovation hubs, Innovation Brewery, in India in 2019 with a vision of solving business problems using emerging innovative technologies.

The BudStart Accelerator in 2019 was launched to AB InBev’s dream of building a strong organisation for the next 100 years, and the programme has now received more than 400 startup applications and enabled them to identify disruptive solutions in the marketplace.

The BudStart 2021 will see AB InBev Beer Garage APAC & Africa Hub simultaneously launch three editions (Global Fintech, APAC and Africa) of the BudStart Global Accelerator 2021 programme for startups with innovative solutions from across the globe.

Selected startups will receive accelerator funds, support to improve product/solution maturity, global expansion opportunity, mentoring (functional, technical, legal), strategic investment opportunity, corporate and partnership connections and more.

The program will launch on 23rd April, 2021 and interested startups can click here to register.
