Alef Education and AfricAI Roll Out AI NextGen Learning to Bridge Education Gaps Across 18 African Nations
A UAE-based edtech firm, Alef Education in partnership with Nigeria’s AfricAI is launching a platform called AI NextGen Learning, a large-scale digital education that is targeted at closing the learning gaps across 18 African countries starting with Nigeria.
This project is set to leverage on AI-driven tools to advance foundational education, aligning with national priorities while expanding access to under-served communities.
AI NextGen Learning will adopt AfricAI's regional knowledge with Alef Education's digital learning platform in order to build scalable solutions that are compatible with Africa’s educational institutions. The first launch phase of the project will accept thousands of pupils with more adoption as time goes on.
According to Geoffrey Alphonso, CEO, Alef Education, highlighted that;

The program's potential to spot learning gaps in real time and offer targeted support to help pupils catch up more successfully is a crucial component. Data-driven dashboards that allow better classroom management and instruction will also help teachers.
The official launch occurs at a time when many African nations are looking for innovative solutions to longstanding problems in education, such as crowded classrooms, a lack of resources for teachers, and unequal access to high-quality learning materials.
