Amazon Ring Enters W’ African Market via Partnership with Ashour Corporation
Amazon Ring LLC has entered into a partnership, as well as appointed Ashour Corporation FZE, a Dubai-based company with a majority stake by Nigerian-born tech billionaire and Forbes Best of Africa Leading Tech Icon, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, as authorized distributor of Amazon Bell products in West Africa as the company debut in the regional market.
The top executives of Amazon Ring LLC and Ashour Corporation FZE inked the partnership agreement in Dubai last week.
Ring LLC, an Amazon subsidiary, is a home security and smart home company. It makes home security products that include outdoor surveillance cameras, such as the Ring video doorbell, smart doorbell, and smart cameras. Ring LLC also provides law enforcement agencies with video footage from its cameras and data from its Neighbors App upon request. These easy-to-install and low-cost security products are the global number one choice for homes and offices, with little or no maintenance required and an extended warranty.
Ashour Corporation FZE, on the other hand, was established in Dubai in 2004. The company has been involved in the deployment of major satellite projects in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Libya, Iraq, and Pakistan, among others, and is also the largest partner of iDIRECT USA in the UAE, as well as major partners of TerraSat, Norsat, Misshinbo, Actox, and Jubiter Microwave.

Mohammad Hoda, VP of Business Development at Ring LLC in the MEA region, confirmed the news and said that they are excited to partner with Ashour Corporation and, by extension, TD Africa because they meet Amazon’s standards.
