Andela a global talent network that helps companies build remote engineering teams has just announced the global expansion of their engineering talent.

In a statement by Michael Archibald the CTO of SalesRabbit “Every one of the Andela engineers I have worked with has been stellar. They are great engineers, really driven to deliver, and they’re just great people”. The startup currently boasts of engineers from 37 countries across five continents of the world rendering access to a truly global network of talented engineers.

Andela was established in 2014 with the aim of creating a global talent network that connects companies with engineering talent in emerging economies. The startup has since attained a track record of linking engineers remotely to global opportunities. The startup has seen applications from qualified engineers outside of Africa increase by more than 750% in the past six months.

According to McKinsey, the global talent company’s expansion provides clients with greater diversity which is reported to be a major factor in delivering innovation and company growth.

The company clients will have more flexibility to build diverse teams across country borders, skill sets, time zones, and cultures.
