Founder Institute Applications Opened for Lagos third Cohort.
Founder Institute has opened applications for its third Cohort in order to support more startups to launch new companies across Nigeria and Africa at large.
According to the Founder of Loystar, Ayo Dawodu; he says the FI program is for any entrepreneur looking forward to being a successful one solidly and it highly recommended for such entrepreneurs.
Founder Institute is the world’s largest pre-seed startup based in Silicon Valley with chapters all over 65 countries.
Fi currently has chapters In Nigeria, that is in Lagos and Abuja, and their mission is to empower communities of talented and motivated people to build impactful, technology-enabled companies across the globe.
Co-founder of 9ijakids, Titilope Adewusi also endorsed the program by saying, “Once you make that decision to be an entrepreneur, you need only one thing ; (FI) ”
“FI boosts of an awesome program that ensures success on your entrepreneurial journey. I wish I had gone through it earlier,” she added.
The program has also birthed a number of females since the first and second Cohort. They increased from a percentage of ten to thirty and Founder’s Institute expects an increase of female founders by fifty percent.
Founder Institute’s Regional Director for Africa, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata Jr also spoke on the importance of female leadership;
‘‘As a team, we know that female leadership improves team dynamics and we are committed to supporting more women to participate actively in the tech ecosystem. However, we are open to supporting entrepreneurs to launch or scale their companies irrespective of age, gender, background,d, and location in order to help them become a part of the global FI movement.’ he said.
The Founder Institute currently has more than 4.000 graduates developing some of the world’s fastest-growing startups and operates across over 200 cities and 6 continents with headquarters in the United States of America.
