Qatar-based restaurant technology startup DineNORDER has expanded into Egypt as part of its wider regional growth strategy.
The expansion will see DineNORDER work with Egyptian restaurants, technology partners and local talent as it builds its presence in one of the region’s largest food-service markets.
The company, incubated at Qatar Science & Technology Park, says its platform is designed to help restaurants digitize operations and improve customer experiences through a single system.
“Egypt represents an exciting market for us, and we look forward to bringing our smart digital solutions to restaurants,” said Anja Miscevic, product manager at DineNORDER. "
DineNORDER’s Egypt entry adds to the growing movement of Gulf-based technology startups expanding into North Africa.
Egypt’s market shows that regional expansion can be a viable growth path for African startups, without relying solely on entry into Western markets. DineNORDER’s expansion is an opportunity to build software around the everyday needs of African businesses.
