EASE Holdings BV has raised an additional $9.5 million in equity funding from US-based AAFC Group to expand its healthcare equipment financing operations in South Africa and Ghana, bringing its total equity funding to $24 million.

The investment will support the deployment of advanced medical equipment, including MRI, CT and PET-CT scanners, surgical robots and radiotherapy systems.

EASE provides hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers with access to expensive medical equipment through pay-per-use and managed-service arrangements, reducing the financial burden of outright purchases.

The company has already deployed surgical robots in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga, a PET-CT scanner in Rustenburg, and MRI and CT scanners in Ghana.

EASE is targeting at least $20 million in new equipment installations in South Africa in 2027.

For founders, EASE’s expansion demonstrates how African entrepreneurs can build scalable healthcare businesses by using technology and alternative financing models to address infrastructure gaps, improve equipment access, and attract international investment.
