Egyptian Home Services Startup, FilKhedma, Secures Funding From Cairo Angels

Egyptian home services marketplace, FilKhedma, has announced it secured an undisclosed amount of funding from The Cairo Angels, a global network of angel investors dedicated to supporting startup possibilities in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.

FilKhedma was founded by Omar Ramadan in 2014, the startup aims at connecting top experts with customers in need of a variety of services, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

As the largest home services marketplace in Egypt and currently operating in 3 Egyptian cities, FilKhedma offers a variety of services to its customers, including plumbing, carpentry, electricity, and painting.

Users can book online quality guaranteed reliable service providers in home cleaning, maintenance, and other services. Service providers apply online and are accepted after passing through the onboarding process after which they receive orders through a mobile app.

Omar Ramadan, Founder of Filkhedma expressed excitement on the new funding while also welcoming Cairo Angels on board.
