Egypt’s El Kheta Secures $400k in Funding to expand online education opportunities in Egypt
Egypt-based edtech startup, El Kheta has secured $400k in funding from EdVentures, a strong supporter of Edutech startups in the MENA region.
Founded in 2019, El Kheta provides a platform with tailored curricula for students, and the opportunity to create a personalized study plan that fits their schedule.
EdVenutures, launched in 2017 as part of the Nahdet Misr Group, is the first venture capital company dedicated to pre-seed, and seed-stage educational technology startups in the MENA region. The company is committed to advancing entrepreneurship in Egypt and the wider Arab region.
With the new funding, El Kheta aims to empower young people, enhance the availability of online educational opportunities for school students in Egypt, foster a culture of innovation, and provide the necessary resources for the next generation of entrepreneurs to thrive in the region.
