Egypt’s Fashion E-commerce Platform DressCode raises $250k funding
Egyptian fashion and e-commerce startup DressCode has announced it secured $250k in funding to help it expand its offering, mostly in the home décor space.
DressCode was founded in 2018 by the duo of Mohamed Abdel Dayem and Ali Zakaria. The startup has offered experiential retail environments and a well-curated mix of on-trend women’s clothes, catering to both young women and teens.
DressCode has been described as the ultimate one-stop shop for the modern yet economical woman. It aims to promptly offer stylish quality products at appealing prices to every user in Egypt.
The startup provides a platform for local fashion brands and designers to market and sell their products while providing customers with a one-stop shop for stylish quality products at appealing prices.
So far, it has fulfilled DressCode has offered 30,000 orders, and it now offers 6,000 SKUs and is now targeting further expansion after securing a further $250k from Egypt Ventures.
