As the global climate crisis intensifies and dominates both national and international discussions, African nations are taking proactive steps toward sustainable solutions. In an attempt to combat climate change and embrace sustainable mobility options, BasiGo, the Kenyan electric vehicle (EV) startup, has recently entered into a historic partnership with AC Mobility (Tap&Go) to introduce Electric Buses in Rwanda. The partnership, announced by the Rwanda Development Board on Thursday, 27th July 2023, marks a significant milestone in Africa's e-mobility revolution, with the first set of Electric Buses set to grace Rwandan streets by October 2023.
