Elggo Launches Relief Hub to Transform Mental Health Support Across the Arab World
Elggo’s launch of Relief Hub marks a significant step in addressing mental health challenges in the Arab world. By combining AI tools, free therapy sessions, and regional support directories, the platform is easing access to care and empowering youth to seek help in ways that resonate with their realities.

A UAE-based mental health startup, Elggo, is launching a free regional platform that is created to provide accessible mental health support across the Arab world called Relief Hub. The launch was concluded in March 2026 and now has its operations in eight nations namely; United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Oman.

After its first day soft launch, the hub has reached over 600 users, with most of them being youths which has demonstrated the urgent demand for culturally relevant mental health resources in the region. The platform is created to face increased psychological stress brought on by local instability and the shortage of culturally compatible mental health services.

Mirna Mneimneh, chief executive and co-founder of Elggo, described the launch as a reaction to a lingering imbalance between regional demands and available solutions. She claimed that rather than merely translating foreign solutions, the site was intended to represent the actual reality of Arab customers, drawing on her personal experiences growing up in Lebanon.

Mental health remains a critical issue across the Middle East, where communities face challenges from conflict, displacement, and economic uncertainty. Relief Hub addresses:

The portal provides free therapist-led group sessions, arranged by age, language, and region, in addition to self-guided journaling. These meetings are intended to foster a sense of community among users dealing with similar problems and provide structured emotional support. Additionally, Relief Hub has a modified directory of mental health services that makes it simple for consumers to locate national support providers.

About Elggo

Elggo was founded by Mirna Mneimneh and Luma Makari as a UAE-based health-tech startup focused on improving access to mental health and emotional well-being support across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The company builds digital tools and platforms that provide culturally relevant, accessible, and affordable mental health resources.

The founders launched the company to address the gap in mental health services in the Arab world, where access to care is often limited and stigma remains a barrier.
