Founders Live To Host Startup Pitch Event In Cairo
Founders Live, a digital platform established to disseminate educational content for entrepreneurs and startup founders globally, is set to host its pitch event live in Cairo, Egypt.
According to Founders, entrepreneurs from around the world will be hosted at the event, while 5 startups will be picked from across Cairo and each will be given the opportunity to pitch their ideas within 99 seconds only.
The startups are expected to clearly state their innovation, their audience and the problem it hopes to solve. This will be done facing a large crowd. The pitch session will be followed by a Q&A session from both the panel and the audience, after which the winner will be voted for by the audience.
The event promises to be prize packed as the winner will be going home with $10,000 worth of AWS credit, an award, recognition from the audience, and the opportunity to pitch during subsequent Founders live pitch events.
The motive of the event is to use its platform to build connections among startup founders, giving them access to the first audience, and testing their ideas on a neutral crowd, therefore, building familiarity between the audience and the startups.
The event organizers have partnered with Amazon Web Services, Amazon’s subsidiary that gives access to instant on-demand cloud computing solutions. This partnership provides startups pitching at the event the opportunity to access some of Amazon’s user-friendly infrastructure. This will assist the startups to scale and develop their business, no matter the size.

We are excited to announce ALL presenting companies who are chosen to give their 99-second pitch at a Founders Live event receive $5,000 credit towards their web hosting on Amazon.”
