Fuzé To Grant Up To US$48,000 Equity Funding To Francophone African Startup, Application Now Open
Fuzé an investment company powerd by Digital Africa is set to invest equity funding into early-stage startups functioning in Francophone African countries. Sources reveal that startup with these features can now apply for up to US$48,000.
Supported by the french government, The Digital Africa Initiative is an organization that helps African tech-based startups. The initiative was launched in 2018 by Emmanuel Macron, the President of France.
Many startups in, Ivory Coast, Morocco,Rwanda, Senegal and Tunisia have been opened via Fuzé, and the initiative is promised to be available across all Francophone African countries soon. Via Fuzé startups can get up to US$19,000 in funding and a follow up SAFE investment of US$29,000.
The initiative is established to support entrepreneurs who are in the process of launching or have already launched their tech startup. Ther are required to have less than 18 months activity, the founder or at least one of the co-founders must be of a French-speaking African nationality. they must operate in a French-speaking African country and must have a tech feature in their business model, product or services.
