Glovo Opens Third Micro Fulfillment Center In Kenya
Spanish quick e-commerce platform, Glovo, has revealed that it has opened its third micro fulfilment centre in Kenya, in other to meet up with consumer demands.
This centre, being its third, Glovo opened its first micro-fufilment centre in June 2021, the second one was opened recently in June 2o22 and the third one is coming now, the startup is working actively to satisfy consumer requests.
The activities of e-commerce have been expanding in the East African country this has increased competition, as each brand tries to appeal to customers and maintain the growth of their market share. With such high competition, many startups try to be creative with their initiatives, products and services. This is one of the factors Golvo intends to demonstrate with the new centre.
Launched in 2015, Glovo expanded in the Kenyan market in 2019, it is one of the online platforms that also functions as a logistics startup which takes away the burdens of logistics difficulties from virtual merchants, thereby reducing costs of operations that are most times attached to logistics.
