Google Launches Accelerator For Cleantech In Middle East, Africa
Google has announced the launch of Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change. This 10-week, equity-free program is specifically designed for Seed to Series A startups that are working hard to tackle Climate Change with technology. This amazing opportunity is being offered in partnership with Google Cloud and is specifically targeted at high-potential startups based in the Middle East and Africa.
Participants will have access to a range of amazing benefits, including a mix of in-person and virtual activities, 1:1 mentoring, and group learning sessions. If you're interested in taking part, now is the time to act! The application window is open until July 7th, and the program will be conducted in August and September.
The Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change program offers an incredible array of resources and support for startups. Google will also offer workshops that focus on topics such as product design, business, and leadership development.
Participating startups will also receive dedicated technical expertise from Google Cloud and credits via the Google for Startups Cloud Program.
Eligibility criteria include-
Startups demonstrating traction, ideally between Seed and Series A stage.
Building a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and defensible growth model.
We are focusing on sustainable technology climate solutions, cleantech, and green energy.
Deeply technical, preferably leveraging technologies like Machine Learning and AI.
Commitment from CTO and/or technical roles to participate and engage in required program sessions.
At the end of the program, participants will showcase their achievements on Demo Day. After the accelerator is over, all the startups that participated will still receive support through the Google for Startups Accelerator Alumni program and network.
