Two Google veterans, Bonita Stewart, a former Google VP, and Jackson Georges Jr., a former CapitalG Partner, have announced a $11.3 million fund (Fund 1), backed by 150 limited partners, to support early-stage AI startups through BAG Ventures.

The fund will invest in founders building AI startups at the enterprise level and B2B software aimed at redefining industries.

BAG Ventures is an early-stage fund with check sizes ranging from $100,000 to $500,000, and has made 10 investments across various AI sectors, with each startup providing enterprise solutions to its customers.

Both operators have deep startup investing experience. Bonita comes with 18 years at Google, where she was named Vice President in 2012, becoming the first Black woman to hold a VP title in the history of the company. Jackson also brings a wealth of experience, from sales at Google to helping scale companies like Duolingo, Lyft, and more; the duo's track record is remarkable.

The fund is also calling on founders building in enterprise B2B AI at pre-seed or seed stages to reach out at managingpartners@bagvc.com.
