Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN has partnered with Microsoft to merge its Arabic-focused artificial intelligence models into Microsoft’s enterprise AI ecosystem, expanding access to systems designed for the region’s language and business needs.
Under the agreement, HUMAIN’s Arabic large language models will be made available across Microsoft’s enterprise platforms, enabling organizations to develop and deploy AI applications tailored to Arabic-language users.
The partnership is expected to support applications across sectors including financial services, government and healthcare, as businesses accelerate the adoption of generative AI.
The deal reflects a push across the Middle East to develop AI infrastructure and models that better reflect local languages, cultures and operating environments and not rely solely on systems primarily built around English language data.
For regional businesses and founders, the collaboration could create new opportunities to build Arabic-first AI products while strengthening the Middle East’s ambitions to become a major player in the global AI economy.
