Isreali AI Startup, Autobrains, Hilla Tavor Announces As CBO
An Israeli AI mobility startup, Autobrains, has made an important development in its executive position as it appoints business development expert, Hilla Tavor, as its Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Autobrains specializes in developing AI technology and self-learning tools for autonomous driving. The AI startup has a wide range of investors including Knorr-Bremse, BMW i Ventures, Continental AG, and many more.
While Tavor previously served as the Vice President at Mobilieye, she was specifically active in its ADAS business development, while being responsible for the organization’s sales management.
The reason behind Tavor’s appointment seems quite obvious as the business expert possesses substantial experience as a business developer, and will be coming along with 12 years of wealth of experience to Autobrains.
While addressing the appointment, Autobrains CEO, Igal Raichelgauz, stated, She is an undisputed and widely recognized leader in the industry’s autonomous and advanced driver assistance space. We look forward to putting her knowledge and network to good use as we introduce more of the industry to the breakthroughs we’re enabling with Autobrains’ technology.”
Joining the Autobrains team, Tavor will be in charge of networking partnerships for the organization. The facilitation of partnerships should occur between Autobrains and automakers (automobile creators). This line of activities provides sales channels for the AI startup. Through Tavor’s experience and networking wealth, Autobrains can access qualitative partnerships and investment opportunities.
Tavor’s career background goes as far back as graduating from Bar-Ilan University with a BSc in Computer and Math in 1996, then going ahead to fill various career positions from Software Engineer, Technical Program Manager, Sales Manager, and now CBO.
While speaking about Autobrains solutions and its abilities, Tavor said “Today’s solutions are mostly black-box and bound to a specific set of hardware. OEMs and Tier-1s are looking for more flexibility and adaptability with their ADAS partners, and that’s what Autobrains offers: adaptable technologies with a modular, hardware-agnostic setup that can be implemented into an automaker or supplier’s existing system architecture and is tailored to their needs.”
