Jumia Nigeria Wins HR Best Practice in E-commerce Award

Africa’s top e-commerce platform, Jumia Nigeria, has been recognized for its distinctive human resources practices as it emerges as the winner of the Human Resources Best Practice in the e-commerce category. The honour was conferred on the company during the HR Oscars Awards held at the EUI Centre in Port Harcourt.

Via the award, recognition is given to Jumia Nigeria for its remarkable achievements and contribution towards supporting the HR practices to their best, in the same vein enforcing inclusion and diversity policies within the organization.

The aim of the award is to encourage and commemorate the company for its effort which will motivate it to continuously practice optimum HR routines thereby promoting the excellence of People Management and Organisation Development.

Established in 2012 by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), the HR Best Practice Awards is meant to stimulate excellence in People Management and Organisation Development and likewise celebrate specialists to put in the effort to enforce the best-in-class HR culture in their workplace.
