Jumia, in its recently released Q2 financial report, revealed that the company faced the challenging impact of deteriorating macroeconomic conditions in Nigeria, a key market for the e-commerce company on the continent. Consequently, the reported revenue for the quarter dwindled to $48.5 million, marking a significant drop from the $57.3 million generated in Q2 2022. The order volume experienced a similar decline, plummeting from 10.3 million in Q2 2022 to 6.5 million in Q2 2023.
