MTN Ranked The Most Admired Brand in Africa.

MTN has been ranked as the most admired brand in Africa based on Africa’s Brands survey 2020.

The spontaneous consumer responses in Brand Africa 100, which was released on Monday, shows that MTN is also the only African brand in the rankings of the most admired brands in Africa.

MTN Mobile Money, through which MTN provides more than 35 million Africans access to financial services, representing around 80% of the population and the GDP of Africa and Covering 27 countries

The group is now considered one of the continent’s most admired media brands and remains one of Africa’s most admired finance brands.

After building up a successful operation in South Africa, achieving a market share of some 38 percent (second only to Vodacom, the dominant mobile telecommunications provider), the group began its expansion into the rest of Africa in 1998.
