Three Nigerian startups have secured a combined $150,000 after being selected for the 14th cohort of MARL’s global accelerator program, which supports early-stage technology companies.

Solarcorp, Bravoo and Zendtrax will each receive $50,000, along with support in product development, business strategy and fundraising, as they advance their businesses.

MARL’s program gives participating founders access to funding, mentorship, and investor networks. The cohort is expected to present its businesses at a Demo Day scheduled for November 12.

The selection places the three Nigerian companies among startups receiving backing from the US-based venture capital firm as part of its latest accelerator cohort.

The $150,000 combined investment will give the three companies additional capital to develop their products and operations.

For Black startups and businesses, the selection offers a concrete example of local startups securing international accelerator backing across energy, consumer technology, and enterprise software.
