Remedial Health Enables Buy-Now-Pay later Policy To Maximize Sales Opportunity
Remedial Health, a Nigerian health startup has activated a flexible payment plan for its customers to help them maximize sale opportunities in the pharmaceutical market. This was made known when Co-founder Samuel Okwuada granted journalists an interview.
As reported, Okuada revealed that this policy is provided to assist drug store(pharmacy) owners acquire authentic medicines and at the same time experience a stress-free financial inventory option
“All products are vetted before distribution to verify their authenticity, and “Buy-Now-Pay-Later” options are also available to enable store owners to stock up and maximize the sales opportunities available to them. Using our digital procurement platform, pharmacies and Proprietary Patent Medicine Vendors (PPMVs) can source all the medicines, consumables, and small medical devices for their practice via a mobile app or mobile responsive web store at open-air medicine market prices and have them delivered within 24 hours.”Okwuada stated.
What is Remedial Health?
Remedial is a health tech that provides a variety of technology solutions for the Nigerian health industry, including easy access to affordable and authentic medicines, medical devices, and consumables for credible healthcare providers.
Okwuada mentioned during the interview, “We provide a range of solutions, including our digital procurement and patient medication records platforms that make it easier for neighborhood pharmacies and Proprietary Patent Medicine Vendors (PPMVs) to access affordable and authentic retail medicine.”
Founded in 2020 by Victor Benjamin and Samuel Okwuada, Remedial Health is now functional in nine states within Nigeria and has connections with about 100 pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors including the likes of Emzor, Fidson Healthcare, GSK, Pfizer and many more.
Recently, Remedial secured a $1 million pre-seed funding, from Venture Platform, Ingressive Capital, Global ventures, Olugbenga “GB” Abgoola of Flutterwave, Opeyemi Awoyemi of Jobberman, and others as investors. The startup was also part of the W22 Y Combinator program.
As reiterated by Samuel, the organization intends to harness the Nigerian market fully, “We are exploring other opportunities to penetrate the market a little further but our focus, for now, is on deepening our footprint in Nigeria and creating more value for our partner pharmacies and manufacturers.”
With access to genuine medicines and medical products, connections to manufacturers, a flexible payment plan in place, and the support of technology, Remedial is not stopping with the Nigerian market only, it desires to expand its scope.
