Saudi AI startup Echelon has secured backing to accelerate the development and expansion of its AI business in the Kingdom.
The backing brings together East40, RAED Ventures, and Avra, with interests in Saudi Arabia’s startup ecosystem, giving Echelon capital and investor support as it develops its technology and expands its operations.
The company said the investment will support its growth as it builds AI solutions for businesses. Echelon did not disclose the size of the investment.
Echelon is among a growing group of Saudi startups building AI-focused products as companies across the region increase their adoption of artificial intelligence.
For Black and Brown founders building AI and enterprise technology companies in Saudi Arabia, the deal points to an opportunity to develop locally focused products for the Kingdom’s business market.
The investment also gives Echelon the capital to expand its AI products in the market while building its presence in Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem.
