UAE Digital Education Gets Boost as Ankabut Partners with Dell Technologies
The UAE’s digital education ecosystem has taken a leap forward following its new partnership between Ankabut, the national education and research network, and Dell Technologies. The two organizations came together and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase high-performance digital learning infrastructure across the country.
According to the arrangement, Ankabut will provide Dell’s GPU as a service and outstanding performance computing solutions under the terms of the agreement, allowing access to institutions and research organizations to acquire scalable computing power for cutting-edge research and learning. Additionally, Dell will support Ankabut's goal of providing reliable, easily accessible digital infrastructure for the UAE's education sector by supplying modern client devices, workstations, and system infrastructure.
The partnership of this program is anticipated to help national universities by improving opportunities for online education and accelerating up research capacities. Ankabut is already built with a variety of services, from cloud and security to networking and virtualization, from its data center at Khalifa University.
By authorizing flexibility and scale that can meet the increasing requirements of the education sector, the relationship with Dell enhances the company's status as a provider of cloud solutions.
Managing Director of South Gulf at Dell Technologies, Walid Yehia, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership: “Together with Ankabut, we are redefining the learning experience in the UAE by bringing cutting-edge technology to classrooms and research labs.”
Tarek Jundi, CEO of Ankabut, added: “This collaboration supports the UAE’s national vision for technology-first education, ensuring our institutions are future-ready and globally competitive.”
The partnership gives educational institutions the advanced infrastructure they need to educate learners for the digital future, supporting the UAE's larger aim for a knowledge-based economy.
