London-based AI startup Zenithon AI has raised $10 million to develop AI-powered world models designed to build complex engineering simulations for fusion energy, rocketry and semiconductor manufacturing.
The round was backed by Backed VC, Lunar Ventures, Seraphim Space, MMC Ventures and SOSV, giving the UK deeptech company fresh capital to expand its technology and team.
Zenithon is developing machine-learning models that can simulate complex physical systems much faster than conventional methods. Its initial focus is fusion, where simulations can take months to complete.
The startup says its models can help engineers assess more design options while providing uncertainty estimates alongside predictions. The technology is also being developed for applications beyond fusion, including rockets and advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
For Black and Brown founders building in the UK’s deeptech and AI sectors, the raise shows continued investor appetite for specialized AI companies tackling infrastructure-heavy scientific and industrial problems.
