Access Bank and Udacity partner to Advance Tech Skills among Africans

Access Bank and Udacity have announced they are partnering to award 1,000 scholarships in 2021 to African students looking to enhance their future career or skill set in today’s most sought-after, in demand tech skills.

Udacity speaking said they were proud to provide hands-on learning opportunities in fields such as Business Analytics, Programming, Data Science, Product Management and Digital Marketing. “Scholarship recipients will complete a portfolio of real-world projects that demonstrate mastery of highly sought-after tech skills”.

Udacity was launched in 2011 with the aim of delivering quality curriculum designed with top-tier industry partners to enable individuals and businesses learn the high-impact tech skills for growth.

Udacity and Access Bank have now partnered to bridge the gap between the number of tech jobs available and the number of Africans working in tech by providing opportunities to interested Africans.

The program will offer 1,000 Nanodegree program scholarships for Africans to build practical, in-demand, cutting-edge tech skills. The program will also leverage it environment to engagement participants with classmates in a robust, actively managed, student community.

The scholarship is intended to create upskilling opportunities for individuals and give them the skills needed in the digital world.
