About Emonovo
Abdo Samy, Sami Al-Ahmad, and Ahmed Elgebaly founded Marj3, now Emonovo, in July 2016 as a comprehensive database containing simplified educational opportunities for Arab youth around the world. The platform received pre-seed funding from Flat6Labs’ FAC Egypt Fund in 2017, just months after its launch, allowing it to grow and reach a much larger segment of the target audience in the Middle East, with over two million monthly visitors on its website.
In 2020, Emonovo will receive another investment from a US-based investor (Expert Dojo). Following that, partnerships in various fields with over 300 universities worldwide. However, the founders finally decided this year to fully support students from A to Z in their educational journey. They evolved from a scholarship platform to a university and student matching platform. Marj3 rebranded Emonovo in March 2022 after some internal and external changes and new branding.
