The UAE-based fintech, XSquare, has raised an undisclosed pre-seed round led by Radled Venture with participation from Angel Spark, 500 Global, and Oraseya Capital.
XSquare is building a B2B payment orchestration platform that brings several payment rails, collection, payments, and reconciliation into a single business.
Through its partnership with Mastercard, the company is also bringing Mastercard's B2B payments products to markets, enabling card-funded suppliers and vendor payments that settle directly to bank accounts
The company says the new funding will support the expansion of its payment rails and banking partnership while helping its engineering and commercial teams.
XSquare also plans to use the capital to launch operations in Saudi Arabia, building its expansion into Qatar, which marks its first move beyond the UAE
As African businesses trade across borders, infrastructure like Xsquare could help reduce payment friction, improve cash flow management, and build scalable B2B financial services.
