ARM Launches Ultramodern Workspace For Nigerian Fintech Startups

Assets and Resource Management Holding company (ARMHoldco) has launched an ultramodern innovation workspace for fintech startups that have been selected by the ARM Labs Innovation Program.

The workspace is located at the company’s headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos state.  This is done as the organization fulfils its commitment to provide a location that is well-equipped for startups to build their businesses and have access to mentors.

The workspace is equipped with a few facilities that are meant to support and ease work activities which will take place there. These facilities include Wi-Fi access, A meeting room, Designated workstations, a PS5 entertainment console and a communal space.

The ARM Labs Innovation Programme was established to occupy early-stage Fintech startups with several activities targeted at scaling the growth of their start-ups within a short period of time, making them open to investments as soon as possible.

ARM, established in 1994, is one of Nigeria’s leading diversified and integrated asset management group firms that provides wealth creation opportunities through the use of asset management and investment services to retail and high-net-worth organizational investors.

During the launch, Wale Odutola, the Managing Director, ARM Pensions gave insight into the development, he mentioned that the space gives startups the opportunity to accelerate their businesses and to help establish their market. In his view, the platform will also enable them to network locally and internationally. He has therefore encouraged selected participants to judiciously take advantage of the opportunity presented to them by scaling on it.

Odutola reiterated  “It is not every day you have the opportunity to partner with an established firm that has over a million clients and focuses on course development and services. We are also a business that tends to be more protective of the things we create. This is a great opportunity to test the extent of our mentorship and hopefully come out on the other side transformed and ready to break new ground.”

Uche Azubuike, Managing Director, ARM Academy, stated that the Innovation program is a learning environment and encouraged participants to freely request for the resources they might need to succeed, “The reason you are here is so that you can interact with different businesses. Because we believe that way, we can add value to whatever you are working on in the building. Don’t limit yourself. You have the opportunity to do as much as you can,” she stated.
