Ethiopia ’s FDRE and MasterCard Partners to setup Yegara to Connect Startups with Investors

Ethiopia ’s FDRE Jobs Creation Commission, has announced a partnership with Mastercard Foundation Piazza Communication, for the creation of the Yegara platform that connects companies with investors.

Through the Mastercard Foundation-funded project, angel investors will be brought together to assist innovative young entrepreneurs.

The aim of the Yegara website is to provide ecosystem-focused and creative financial services through a dedicated workforce and cutting-edge technology.

Young startups and innovators will be able to build profiles and advertise themselves to investors on this platform, and investors can choose from a variety of startups to partner with, removing the barriers to financing for startups and aids investors in locating appropriate enterprises with well-organized profiles and structured demands.

Registering on the portal is free from payment. Entrepreneurs can easily register their enterprises here by filling out the required information. Following that, firms will be confirmed after submitting the requested papers in accordance with the verification received.
