Splendapp raises pre-Seed round from Saudi Angel Investors

Cairo-based mobile app developer, Splendapp, has announced it raised an undisclosed six-figure pre-Seed round from a cluster of Saudi angel investors.

Splendapp is a mobile app creator offered as a SaaS solution launched in 2020 by Mohamed Khaled and Mohamed Shahin. The startup leverages an engine built to be used by Non-Technical users in order to deliver amazing mobile applications with a great Using Experience in a very short time.

Splendapp is designed to be simply linked with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Woocommerce, Wix, Magento, and others, therefore the firm’s main emphasis is on producing e-commerce apps to enable them quickly design their own mobile app to satisfy both their corporate and personal goal.

Splendapp’s platform allows users build (IOS & Android) Mobile Applications, with the ability of modification or restructure the apps anytime.

Splendapp is fully compatible with 70% of worldwide websites and ready to create its mobile apps. And we work on increasing this percentage by integrating with more platforms.

“Besides expansion, this round will enable us to invest heavily in our product and team. I am excited about what’s ahead,” Khaled said.

Amid the current e-commerce boom witnessed in Egypt as well as regionally, the company also looks to address the demands of small retailers and facilitate their transition to the digital realm.

The company plans to use the funding to develop its software stack and accelerate its expansion in Egypt as well as regionally.
