Tunisia’s Data Management Startup Biware Raises $1.2m Seed Funding Round
Tunisian data management and analysis startup Biware, has announced it secured $1.2m in its first round of funding from CDC Gestion and Zitouna Capital.
Biware was launched in 2011 with about thirty engineers. The startup is focused on supporting companies in creating value from their information reservoirs for increasing revenues, optimize costs and reduce losses.
Biware leverages its technical & business experts mainly IT & Statistic (Data Scientist) engineers to provide data management & modern analytics.
Biware provides vertical solutions with SAS (SAS Partner) and Microsoft (Microsoft Gold Partner) technologies to respond to business issues and assist customers in decision-making, such as, customer knowledge and targeting, detection and fraud management and demand forecasting.
Biware which is also operating in Lagos and Paris are fulfilling the rising needs of the small market segment and medium-sized organizations by investing substantially in product development and digital accelerators around the analytical core in verticalized areas such as finance and human resource management since 2018.
Biware believes that in order to gain competitive advantage, businesses must fundamentally restructure their operations by automating and gradually integrating artificial intelligence into internal and external processes (customers, partners and suppliers).
Biware hopes to have a hundred African and European engineers and branches by 2025 thanks to this fundraising.
