SmartCIC Launches Connectivity and Field Services in 32 African Countries
32 African nations now have access to the fixed-line connectivity and field service offerings of global managed service provider SmartCIC. Along with fixed-line connection, SmartCIC has started satellite services that link the 54 nations of Africa. Africa will now be a part of its worldwide presence, which already spans six continents and more than 26,000 certified engineers.
The expansion of SmartCIC into Africa makes it possible for businesses and service providers to connect, implement, and maintain digital infrastructure in brand-new, difficult markets. Broadband, direct internet access (DIA), 4G/5G, big capacity, wave technologies, and SLA-backed field services, from knowledgeable volunteers to fully licensed experts, are all offered by SmartCIC. Fully managed WAN, LAN as a service, customized advice, WAN optimization, underlay planning, and audits are all part of its Managed Services offering.
In addition to the 32 areas it already covers, SmartCIC will be expanding its reach in the upcoming months. To increase its reach with domestic engineers, it will continue to collaborate with neighborhood service providers.
Catherine Hemingray was most recently hired by SmartCIC as its sales director. Hemingray is in charge of overseeing the commercial teams at SmartCIC and collaborating with vendors and clients to create customized connection and field service solutions. She has worked at SmartCIC for 16 years and is a board member. Her previous positions include director of carrier relations, director of accounts, and head of service delivery.
